Cereal Box Book Report

Before I start, lemmee give u this in a nutshell:Cereal Box Book Report=STUPID.
Okay, so i have recenty completed an assignment in my Language Arts class, and it was this thing called a Cereal Box Book Report. (For you guys that got this assignment too, ill insert the rubric link at the end.) so what it basically is is that you have to eat a whole box of cereal in one day (if you dont keep spare cereal boxes lying aroun, but i don't know who does :P) and write a report. BUT. You have to have a mini-report for each panel and sidepanel.(Details are in the rubric at the end of this post)The sidepanels have to have the characters and the other sidepanel has to have the setting. The front panel has to have a cheesy name(for example:my friend did a book on N.E.R.D.S, and he came up with NERDS BIRDS. lol.)and a drawing that goes with the cheesy name. It all adds up to a big 30 points or, say, 1/5 of your grade, depending on your teacher.

Physical Education Pros and Cons

O.K. In my school in a little town in Pennsylvania, we have the wierdest things that we have to do in Phys. Ed class. Here are some pros and cons of Phys. Ed. Lets get the cons out of the way first. Square Dancing. A kid's worst nightmare. A big thumbs down. Just plain old and it has no fun to it. Other than when other people are doing it (you get a pretty big laugh, lol),so Square Dancing: Definite CON. The next con would be SALSA DANCING. Again, like square dancing. Old and no fun. (that was pretty quick, huh?) Next con: Cardio Kickboxing. We have recently done that in my Phys. Ed class and it was pretty dumb. The funny part was is how much my teacher stressed that "this workout is NOT for fighting!!!" And, if somebody "accidentaly" kicks you in the shin or punches you in the back of your head, that's no fun! (this has not happened in my class, YET.)
Now the pros. Kickball: total pro. It is just plain fun and there is nothing like fun that can get you fit. (i am an athlete, i'm a cross-country runner and wrestler,baseball player and football player, thank you very much) Next pro: Running laps. Some of you might say to me "A.J.! Laps are SO HARD! Are you crazy?" well, laps ARE NOT hard, and i'm definately not crazy,duh. Onward to the third and final pro:Soccer. Soccer is a fun indoor sport that can get real competitive(like I do), and can get your feet in-shape (feet-eye coordination).

iPad vs. Netbook: What should you buy?

I have a netbook for quite some time now, and have used an iPad many times. I compared the two, and my 3 USB port fully working Windows 7 HP Mini netbook is SMALLER than the iPad. So, for mobility, Netbooks win. Now for the OS (Operating System). Like I said before, my Netbook has Windows 7 Ultimate, and iPad has iOS. You know iPod touches? Don't they run iOS? Yeah! That's right! An iPad is an iPod touch, only a whole lot bigger! For OS, Netbook wins. Now for function. You get a fully working fast Windows 7 over a tablet whitch if you hold the "Home Button" too long, the big iPod get's BRICKED. Yes. Zip. Nada. Don't work. That's what BRICKED means. So, for function, Netbook wins. Now for the last comparison. Price. Okay. Fully working WINDOWS 7 netbook for $299, and of course, another high-priced iPod, $499 for a BIG IPOD TOUCH. So, in ALL of the areas, Netbook wins.

We have this thing at school called Accelerated Reader or AR, and we have these point goals, and basically what you do is read a book, then go on the website, and take a quiz on that book. Reading should be a choice and you should feel good when you read, and you shouldnt feel pressured that you HAVE to read. So you get points for a quiz, and we have these ''Point Goals'' that we have to acheive (whitch is 30 points or higher), and we have to acheive (or overacheive) our ''Point Goals'' or we basically fail library class because the AR ''Goals'' count for 3/4 of our library grade. I'm into the Percy Jackson and Harry Potters, so i usually acheive my goal, so I dont fail.

Halo reach is awesome. I preordered it and got the recon armor. How you rank up is way easier, and you dont have to play for 50 matches to rank up like halo 3. Instead, you earn Credits. You can spend credits on Armor effects, Firefight voices, and armor. And i like the new Firefight mode. All firefight is is 4 sets of 6 rounds of endless covenant. If you survive this on
Legendary mode, you get a 25 G acheivement called "Game, Set, Match". HAlo reach is an overall great game. No wonder it was the most anticipated game of 2010.

Sorry to keep you guys waiting for so long. i just havent had time to blog that much. Blogger.com really needs to make an iphone app or something. Wordpress has one!!! i mean, really!!!

It is the summer, and i have been taking it easy. I recently started a Tribe in my woods, and it is called Tribe Aszkabaned. (the ed is silent) It is a survival club. It is kinda boring around my house exept for my xbox, because i either play halo or call of duty. So you can say that i am having a decent summer.

Recently, Google came out with a PacMan game that you can play on their logo. http://www.google.com/pacman is the site. Press the "Insert Coin" button, click on the logo, and use the arrow keys to start playing PacMan. Other than the Google Brain beta, this is one of the outstanding breakthrough programs that google has came out with. It first showed up on PacMan's 30th Anneversary, but Namco let Google keep the PacMan client, but with a diffrent URL address. You should really try it out.

Pirates of the carribean online is beast. you can fight zombie pirates, scorpions, and BRITISH NAVY SOLDIERS WITH GUNS!!!!! and when you kill a navy person you get a shotgun. You start the game with a rusty cutlass and if you level your guy and/or your sword to 5 you get a dagger or a pistol. i am a level 6 because i started three days ago. it may just be better than runescape....... but i know that nothing will EVER be better than runescape.
